FreedomI stand at the edge of the cliff staring down into the dark blue ocean. The sky is a dark gray and the wind whips my hair furiously. The forest spans behind me calling for me. It tells me to come back. To get away. But I can't. Not this time.

I'd been to the cliff many times before, thinking I'd take an extra step and free myself. But every time I'd shy away, back into the comforting shadows of the trees.

This would be the time. The final act of my existence. I can see it now. My fate panning out in front of me in one glorious leap.

I wrinkled my nose as I stepped on a rotten apple. I was making her way toward the house. The smell of apple's was pleasant, but boring. I'd much rather be in the rye fields, which was the only place I could be myself. I continued on through the fragrant row of trees. Soon the trees came to an end and a cottage came into view. The house wasn't too big. Descent sized. It was old and wooden and slanted slightly. I banged up the steps and burst open the door.

I was greeted by Mother's cat, Martha. Martha was a big fat ginger cat with beady green eyes and a smushed in face. She gave me a welcoming hiss, as I sneez

"Nothing" I said a glazed look in my eyes. There was a strange symbol on the wall by an empty pot rack. I wanna say it looked like two swords crossed together. It was a peculiar blue color.

The french woman looked back at me and saw what I was looking at. She quickly hung a huge pot on the pot hook in front of it.

"Rakel, wanna go explore the grounds?" I said in hope of finding something like the two swords.

"Sure! You know they have horses here?"
